ASSESSMENTS WILL GET YOU ON THE ‘WRITE’ TRACK
Writing is a solitary profession and a very personal, and often vulnerable, form of artistic expression. You may give your work to anyone to read but for many writers the opinion of friends is often not taken seriously if it is positive and taken so seriously, if it is negative, that it results in writer’s block.
However, one of the most useful exercises for any writer is to have their work assessed. It is invaluable to have your completed manuscript assessed before you commence a final edit but often the most useful assessments are those made before the manuscript is completed.
Knowing the quality of your writing style, the appeal of your story, the functionality of your plot and the potential of your readership can be vital in producing the very best work and instrumental in saving you time, effort and money.
Assessments can be made on completed manuscripts; works in progress comprising a few chapters and a synopsis; or even on the idea itself if an example of writing style is provided along with a synopsis.
A basic assessment can be had for as little as $140.
Basic assessments are as follows:
up to 20,000 words - $150.00
up to 40,000 words - $220.00
up to 100,000 words - $290.00
Over 100,000 words - by negotiation
